Thanksgiving in Indiana

Last week, we took our last road trip while living here in the States. We visited some good friends, The Keatons, in Indiana and spent a few days there over Thanksgiving.

Crossing over the state line into Indiana on our outward journey found us entering our 10th state of the three years we've lived here. So, we have now officially covered one fifth of the different American states as a family!

We spent a couple of days there over the Thanksgiving weekend and the girls had a whale of time, especially with Kyla, who Abigail was flower girl for earlier this year ... and on the 4x4 and go-kart.

We enjoyed a delicious feast on Thanksgiving with the Keatons and some of their family ... and then the following day we were able to cook them a Thai feast in return.

While we were there we played some silly games in the evenings, did some Black Friday sales shopping together and had one afternoon shooting too, as well as visiting their new church and just chilling.

It was a lot of fun to catch up with some good friends and have one last weekend away from the craziness that was waiting for us when we returned ... packing, organising, more packing, more organising and everything else that goes into an international move.

When we left Indiana we had to say the first of our big goodbyes ... unfortunately there will be many more of those to come over the next few weeks!
